Legitimate card activation requires that you initiate a telephone call to a specific phone number provided with information you receive with your debit or credit card. Ignore any other instructions received by telephone, text message or email message. Legitimate access to your account should be confirmed by checking the URL address at the top of your internet page, and confirming that you are at the right location.
